Terms
Last updated 20 October 2026
In short: TidierCloud shows you what fills your Google Drive™. It only reads, so you make every change yourself in Google Drive. When you buy, Paddle is the seller and handles payment, tax and refunds. You can get your money back within 14 days, no questions asked.
Who we are
TidierCloud is made and run by Axel Drioli, a sole trader in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Email hello@soundingwild.com for anything about these terms or the app.
These terms cover the website at tidiercloud.com, the app at tidiercloud.com/app and the TidierCloud Chrome extension. By using TidierCloud you agree to them.
Buying TidierCloud
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
That means Paddle is legally the seller: it takes the payment, charges the right VAT or sales tax for where you are, and sends your receipt and invoice. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the purchase itself. These terms cover using TidierCloud.
Companies that want to pay by bank transfer against our own invoice can email us. The same terms apply, with payment as set out on the invoice.
What a licence gives you
- One person. A licence is for one person, signed in with their own email and password. It can be used on up to 3 computers at once; you can sign a computer out to use another. Companies buy one licence per person who uses it.
- Yearly licences renew automatically each year until you cancel. Cancel any time from your Paddle receipt or account and it keeps working until the end of the year you've paid for.
- Lifetime licences are paid once and work for as long as we offer TidierCloud, including updates. If we ever stop offering it, we'll tell you at least 6 months ahead, and the app will keep working on your computer for as long as Google allows.
- Any number of Google accounts can be scanned with one licence.
The free beta
The beta is free, limited to 50 places, and comes as it is, with no warranty. The beta closes when paid plans open. Beta members get a free licence, and we'll email them the details.
What TidierCloud does and doesn't do
TidierCloud reads information about your files (names, sizes, folders, dates, checksums) with read-only access from Google. It can't open, change, move, share or delete anything. Every list links to the real file in Google Drive, where you decide what to do. You're responsible for what you delete or move there; please check before you empty the trash, because Google can't always bring files back.
Your Drive information stays in your own browser. How we handle data is set out in the privacy policy.
Fair use
- Don't share your sign-in with other people, resell licences, or try to get around the licence check.
- Don't use TidierCloud to look at Google accounts you're not allowed to access.
- Don't try to break, overload or copy the service or its code.
If someone breaks these rules we may switch off their licence, after telling them why where we reasonably can.
TidierCloud needs a Google account and works through Google's own systems, under Google's terms. Google Drive™ is a trademark of Google LLC; TidierCloud isn't made by or affiliated with Google. If Google changes something that breaks a feature, we'll work to fix it quickly, but we can't promise every feature will always be possible. If a change stops TidierCloud working for you and we can't fix it, we'll refund you as set out in the refund policy.
Changes to TidierCloud
We keep improving TidierCloud and may change how it looks and works. We won't take away its main purpose (showing what fills your Google Drive) from a licence you've paid for.
Our responsibility
If you buy as a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to digital content that isn't as described, fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality. Nothing in these terms affects them.
We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for anything you delete or change in Google Drive yourself, or for problems caused by Google or your own device. If you use TidierCloud for business, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem.
Nothing here limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Ending
You can stop using TidierCloud at any time and delete its data as described in the privacy policy. Refunds follow the refund policy.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date. If a change affects people who've paid, we'll email them at least 30 days before it applies.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or the European Union, you keep the protection of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
